Should i wait?

Hey guys...well its time to trade in my 2004fx4

I've had my eyes on the 2011 5.0 but with these 2010 deals i might have to jump on one of them.

Do you guys think id be happier getting a 2011? lol Is that engine gonna be that awesome?
Any problems with the 10s?

I'd wait... after having driven all the 3 new engines, I wouldn't want another 5.4L even with a 6-speed. It was hard enough to go back to driving my 5.4L after test driving the new 2011's..

It's up to you. Do the research. But be aware the "deals" are nothing new. F-150's are a dime a dozen whether they are 2010's or 2011's.

Wait a year and get a deal on a 2011. I'm sure your 04 is up to it.

If you don't tow I don't think you can go wrong with a 2010 and even if you tow I don't think you can go wrong. With that being said I do believe that the eco boost or the 6.2 will make towing a littler easier. I myself will grab a 2011 but not everyone looking for a new truck need a 2011. What are you going to be doing with it b/c a 2010 probably would work for you

thanks guys..

most likely gonna hold out for the 11's.
I'm sure the test drive will make my mind up lol

My truck is my daily driver and tow on occasions. Usually tow my 21ft bassboat or a 20foot trailer with my 3 quads.
Would love a diseal but no reason to have one lol

Looking into the 5.0 over the eco

IMHO, towing has very little to do with it. Why do you have to tow a lot to want better fuel mileage, more around-town power and a better transmission?

might want to give the new motors a year or so to settle in , i got a 10 and love the 5.4 motor not really the transmission, but i think the motor is a good one, ive had it in 4 trucks, i know the 5.0 may not b a new motor but it is in the f150, my dad bought a 97 when they 1st come out with v6 in it and had several kinks they had to work out even though the motor was a tarus motor i believe, just my thoughts , get the truck u want, the 10 is cheaper but the value will drop alot when u leave the lot, but if u plan on keepin several years u will b fine
