How Much Weight?
I've got a pallet of roof shingles left over from having my house re-roofed. If it snows here (doubtful this year), I'll throw them in the rear of the bed. I don't know what each one weighs (guessing 40-50 pounds), but I've got 8 or 10 of them I can use.
if you moved the sand further back to the edge of the bed you'd be better off. as of right now some of your weight is being supported by the front suspension (negatively[weight]), the further back it is in your bed the leverage changes to the rear, thus relieving (negative) leverage from the front suspension and applying it to our awful, awful goodyear GS/A's and Perelli Scorpions.
