will or will it not work

Can you change the radio with the 6 in dash cd player for the navigation system? I have the 2010 crewcab Lariat. The one I have now will have to be replaced under warranty.

I think one guy tried it on here and there were some compatibility issues.

It is my understanding that no you cannot. For starters, the wiring is supposed to be a different, and your truck would not have the Nav antenna installed in it that is required....... I was told to give up my dream.

Thanks I will just buy a portable nav. Whole lot cheaper anyway.
