Cold weather suspension noise

With the recent onset of cold, snowy weather here in western PA, I've noticed some suspension noise and wondered if anyone else has as well?

Running over the same railroad tracks and rough places with snow on the ground the temps at 20º sounds like I'm hauling a bunch of loose lumber under my truck.

Poor shocks maybe?

I haven't had the suspension noises, but I sure can hear all of the plastic pieces creaking.

If you have ice chunks in between the cab and the front of the box they will rattle around when going over bumps in the road. Mine did this on my 2004, and now seems worse with my 2010. The gap between the box and cab seems smaller on the 2010. This maybe your problem. Mike

My windshield chirps and my door panels rattle. Very annoying.

I've got that and it drives me nuts with the noise. Ice chunks get caught between the bed and the tonneau. The joys of winter.

Same thing here! All these new noises are freakin me out. I just moved from warm southern California to cold Colorado. I never had a rattle at all before. And the roads here in the cold states are horrible.

I don't usually worry about cold weather noises as long as they disappear as things warm up. The ice behind the cab thing through me until I read about it here. It's very loud and annoying too !! I found a strip of 1/4" thick plastic , cut it about 4" wide and cut course teeth .When fresh snow is cleaned off the truck I make sure it's all cleaned out from between cab and bed .No more noise !!

I'm used to every vehicle rattling in the winter. I'm not a big fan of the snow melting and causing the huge icicles to hang from the front edge of the front doors. If you don't kick them off it sounds like you're grinding all the paint off your door.
