Annoying supercab door rattle

Hey guys I have searched all over but haven't found a working solution. My supercab doors on my 2010 rattle really badly. However, they TOP latch closes snug. The BOTTOM latch has maybe 1/4 an inch of play. How can I adjust the door to have it close snug? I tried the tape trick but it didn't work. Is the latch/striker adjustable? The D ring? Help!

Take it to the dealer, just needs an adjustment. The only time I hear mine make noise is if someone didn't close it hard enough.

I had a serious driver side door rattle. After making an adjustment to the latch where their seem to be only about an 1/8th inch of adjustment allowance, I found it did not work.
What did work was a 1" round cut of sticky backed felt (I used a peice from a box of Velcro I had) placed in the sheet metal dimple that is stamped to receive the rubber stop on the door. After sticking the felt in the stamped body frame dimple the rattle was gone. In fact it's better that the day I picked it up. Nice solid and firm close. No more rattle.

I had the same issue on my '07 when it was new. The dealer adjusted it and all was good. I always put my hand on the upper portion of the door when closing them to ensure proper engagement of the latch.
