2010 Nav Hard Drive Question?

I know that this should probably be in the Audio Section, but the question is specific to 2010s. The dealer told me that all the 2010's with the Nav system have a 12GB hard drive. Is that typical BS, or is there some truth to it?

For the 09s it's actually a 40GB HDD, but only 10GB is available for music storage (following the instructions in the Sync Nav Supplement manual). I'd assume the 10s are the same.

From the 2010 Nav System owner's manual, page 56:

"JUKEBOX
Your mobile media navigation system has a Jukebox which allows you to
save desired tracks or CDs to the hard drive for later access. The hard
drive can store up to 10 GB* (164 hours; approximately 2,472 tracks) of
music."

So I guess there is some truth it it.

I believe you can only load music from CDs to the HD and not from say a thumb drive, which sucks.

That's going to be 10GB of free space on mine (on order).

WTF is a CD?
