Night time reflection in driver side mirror

At night there is a very distracting reflection of the headlight switch and pedal adjust switch in my driver side mirror.

I'm one of those drivers that constantly scans the surroundings with all the mirrors so every 60 seconds or so I glance over at the side mirror and there are these dash light reflections that appear just like car head lights in the mirror. I find its actually quite dangerous.

Any suggestions as how to block this reflection? I'm thinking something like a blinder they use on race horses but I need it to blend nicely with the dash.

Tinted windows and the auto dimming glass or whatever it's called on the mirrors and I don't have that problem.

I have my windows tinted as well, but i noticed this last week. It is very annoying if you do a lot of night driving. Not sure how involved it would be but maybe you could just pull out that bulb?

Auto dimming feature was std. on my truck and I'm not a big fan of the front tinted windows.
I didn't think about pulling the bulb, thats a good option. How easy or difficult is it to access the bulb?

I have the same problem, it is very irritating and distracting. I guess black electrical tape cures all, but looks crappy

Dim the interior lights, that should help a bit.

I never said sunglasses, and you asked - I delivered. Polarized eye glass reduce reflections on objects by 75% and High Deffinition Optics such as the products Oakley makes increase color contrast and sharpness greatly by the way the lens is constructed in reference to your retina. Do you need a step ladder to get off your pedestal?

If glass didnt show minor reflections this wouldnt be an issue would it!

I haven't noticed it on mine. You cold go over the switches with a black marker to darken them up.
