Definitely do the leveling kit - looks goofy with the front end so much lower.

I know a guy that did almost the same thing. He had an 08 F450 diesel dually 4x4 that he traded in for a 2010 STX. He originally wanted a Raptor simply for the fact that they "look cool". lol Then he realized it probably wouldn't have been able to tow his work trailer. He says the STX is much better on gas, lol, he used to spend $150 a week in gas with his 450.

My 2010 STX gets 16.?? MPG. mxrider38 has a 2010 Raptor, that gets 13.?? MPG. Really not all that much difference.

^^ I was referring to the difference between the F450 and his STX. 3mpg is still a big difference, especially if you drive a lot of miles.

I was just stating the difference between a Raptor and an STX. Im sure the 450 was a total hog. My old C1500 got 8 MPG. I am Super happy with my 16 MPG.

Its all good my brother!!

Bringing up the C1500 huh. My old K2500 with the 350 got 12 mpg on a good day, I'll take my 16-17 all day long. Just to add, our 95 C3500HD dump truck with the 454 at work gets 6mpg whether you're towing a machine or completely empty, let me tell you it sucks getting gas for that thing all the time since I'm the only driver for it and it only has an 18 gallon tank.
