I've had the Clifford. SST alarm installed in my 05 Screw for about a year now and it's great. Has a 1 mile range and has remote start. I paid around $600 installed for it. So far it's been a great alarm haven't had any one mess with my truck since it's been installed!

I picked up a Viper 5701 remote start and alarm factory refurbished for $110. It's got a 2000' range, but if you add the SmartStart option, you can link it to your smartphone (iPhone/Android) and get unlimited range, plus if your alarm goes off, it'll push a notification to your phone.

If you are going to install yourself talk to Travis at http://www.kcautosound.com/home.php he prewires the kits for your truck.

I don't know the model number, but I too have the Viper 2-way remote start / alarm. I really like it. I can easily start it from office and let it run for about 5-6 mins while I walk out to the truck at the end of the day.
