what lift?

I'm trying to decide what lift I want to run on my 09 FX4. I think I've got it narrowed down to the BDS, Pro Comp Stage 2 or the Rize(if funds will allow).
Pro Comp says you have to run a 20" wheel is this true? How do yall like your lifts for those that have them?

Thanks

Rize, all the way Just save, save, save till you can afford it. Why mess with a silly 6" and only want more later, get the 8" now and the quality of a rize lift. In 60k+ miles with my rize lift I have had zero issues, and it still looks as good as it did the day I bought it. Plus its one of a kind; you will get compliments on any lifted truck, but you'll get way more with a rize truck.

Some lifts for the 09-10's require a 20 inch or larger wheels but I don't think the Pro Comp does.

The Rize is a beautiful kit and if you want the best its probably worth it to save up. With that said, if it were me I might look at some of the other lifts out there. Many are plenty high quality and durable enough for any kind of driving you would likely do and give you the same results for less money (which could be spent elsewhere on mods to still get you the looks/attention you may desire). You really can't go wrong with most of them out there, just a matter of personal preference. I personally dont like the silver crossmember of the Rize, kind of an Eyesore to me...I like a black one for a more subtle/integrated look.

BDS is always my choice. I have met a couple of the people from that company at my truck shop of choice and the drive for a quality product is nothing short of impressive.

I am also very happy with the BDS kit on my 2009 Platinum. It is also one of the few that let you run down to a 17" wheel on a 2009, which can be important when you think about your spare.

Have you thought of looking at fabtech? That's what I have and I love it. Also the ranch lift is a great kit. Truthfully I wouldn't look at the bds kit. I know I will get in trouble saying this as alot if people here have them, but a friend of mine got one and has had tons of problems with it, because of the angles that are cut in the frame. Just FYI

I have the Rize and its awsome worth every peny. You just cant compare the quality and engineering that went into the rize to anything else. Ive put on two procomps on two of my buddies 09 150 and there nice but when u look at the strength and quality of the rize it just a crazy difference. and the powder coating on the rize is just so prety i didnt want to put it on the truck lol. And with the rize i just cant tell you how many stars thumbs up mouth open druling people saying nice truck i get. the best part is when you see people breaking there neck looking as I drive by. Also for being how high it is it rides just as good as stock. And thats without new coils inthe front. i am running bilstens in the rear and there worth the money also.
