Just had my vehicle painted am not happy with the way the fender trim was reinstalled.I know how they attach, with the 10 or so little clips, that push into holes in the Truck body. Are the clips part of the fender trim, or can the clips be purchased seperately.

 

the clips are sold seperately... cost and part number i don't know off hand.

 

Well that is good news -- you think the body shop would have made a bit of an effort to replace the clips, the wheel lip mouldings are standing out from the fender buy about an eighth of an inch.At this point I did not care if they replaced the clips,or the whole wheel lip moulding.They are not being paid untill it is done properly.

 

Just curious and a little OT...But why did you get your truck painted?

 

We were on Vacation and somebody keyed the whole pasenger side.
