I just bought the PREMIUM MAINTENANCE PACKAGE
for 6 years / 75,000 miles / 5K internal / 15 service visits.
$990
Follows the scheduled maintenance in the manual,
plus a few other replacement items.
Oil changes ALONE would have been +600, so a few extra to cover that
30,000 and 60,000 service is well worth it!

Tire rotations, wipers blades, radiator hoses, brake pads and other stuff for 60,000 miles.
I paid $750 last Feb. for mine. Mine includes Syn. blend oil, too.
I'm on my 3rd service with 8,000 miles.
I go in every 5 months for the service whether the truck needs it or not.

Yeah, since the service interval in the manual is 7,500 . . . the 5,000 mile plan will require a little alteration.
You said you were on your THIRD service @ 8,000. Have all those been just oil changes?
I was wondering about WHEN you could use the extra visits. I figure if I stay on track @ 5,000 I'd be ok. But I really don't want to wait til 5,000 for the FIRST oil change, so I was thinking I'd take it in @ 3,000 and then just go on schedule for the rest of it. My plan goes to 75,000

It also covers all wear items not covered by the original warranty, ie:
Tire rotations, wipers blades, radiator hoses, brake pads and other stuff for 60,000 miles.

Oil change, new filter and tire rotation. Top off all fluids.
I'll go in for my 3rd service in early March unless needed earlier.
Mine is 60,000 miles or 5 years. Hence the price difference. 12 services.
When the maintenance schedule sez to replace the air filter, it gets replaced. Same with fuel filters.

Why risk it? You're talking about a minor expense that could be a life saver.
Hundreds of thousands of these engines are made every year and by my logic I'd say it's worth the money. Granted, 'break-in' oil is no longer used, but I think it's fair to say a few shavings will still be in there.
Anyway, to each his own.

the ESP is based on what months/years/mileage package you bought.

so, you bought the 72 months (as I did).....What mileage goes with that?

After only putting 4k miles a year and I purched my truck in Mar of 09 this will give me 72 months or 48k miles and it is the basic esp plan with 1st day rental and rental for the time its being serviced
