Yeah I knew they were, but I thought the ballast had alot to do with that too. I thought unloaded they went faster.

There are a few that will do 50-55mph but not many. The ballast tanks do add a lot of weight to the boat but you will lose maybe 1-2mph with them full. Plus you don't want to go fast anyway. You gotta go slow to show off the boat lol

Also when you board 99% of people will be at no more than 21-22mph and a 60-65ft line. That will put you right in the sweet spot of the wake.

Trust me man you don't need big wake. The guy I go out with can do a tantrum from behind a jet ski wake it def makes it easier to get bigger air with a bigger wake but that can sometimes be a bad thing as I found out few weeks ago.

Here's my mate trying out my new board and boots. That's with ballast tanks empty and about 4 people in the boat. It will hold 16

Cheers

I wish we got it with a trailer. Would love to tow it about to show off a little lol. It lives on the lake so can't do that

ok. I have a 142, I only weigh 135 or 140, but my dad is 200ish and wanted to learn to ride too, so we had to get a board he could use too. I think I might get a 136 next summer for myself if I enjoy it enough.

You don't have to be exact with board size. It's better to have the board over sized than undersized.

It is to big but you will have more problems with a board being undersized than oversized. Your only going to lose 3cm from each end when you get your correct size but don't let that bigger board put you off. My nephew uses a 119 and he is 5 years old and he does just fine.
