I had this issue before when no one would believe I had a $90k wakeboard boat. I wrote my sign-in name on a piece of card one took picture with it on the boat. Everyone shut up after that lol I hate posting pics of my self online. You don't know what kind of weirdos are on here lol

Yeah I did until couple weekends ago. Took a nasty one to my ribs and its put me out for 2-3 weeks. Never had water hurt like hitting concrete before. Bought brand new ronix ibex and ronin boots that week as well.

I have some friends who are sponsored and they are much better than me.

Nice! I just got a wakeboard this year after many years of skiing. Im only 16, but I already love it. How long have you been doing it? And how long did it take you to get good? I can jump a little already, but its not good haha.

And about the fall thing. I do know about that from other things, tubing and skiing. Ive only had one nasty one on the wakeboard.

 

With proper instruction you can be doing wake to wake jumps within an hour easy. Maybe another 3-4 hours you can pull of a tantrum. It's all about proper instruction though. I been doing it since single tip boards came out many years ago and I have only just got good in the last few weeks. Always because of bad instruction.

 

Oh ok. I wish I could get some good instruction. haha. Just by reading and watching youtube vids of pros, I pickup things to try when I go. I am gonna try wake to wake this weekend when I go. I have just gotten real good at edging and control.

Lol I will swap it for your R8. The car wouldn't last me 5 mins though. I would have that thing off the road and be dead. The boat only goes 42mph so it's hard to get in trouble

That's very max. I could change the prop to get maybe 45-47 but the boats more about towing power and not speed. It will pull 10 skiers without breaking a sweat though. They are more about making big wake than anything else. Take a lot of power to create wake like they can. They eat fuel as well though. Can easy burn $200 a day in fuel
