Tinted emblems?

Just wondering if anybody has tried tinting their ford ovals with niteshades or something similar? I am planning on doing it this weekend and I would prefer to still be able to see the letters. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I remember someone asking about that on here before. I don't recall anyone doing it though. Be sure to take pictures and post them if you do it. I would like to see how it turns out. I think it would look good if everything goes good.

Actually, I've seen someone that did the spray-tint on their emblems. It came out really well and he was able to make it look almost black. Worth doing if you want it tinted.

yeah it was just a couple pretty light coats. i really wanted the emblems to just be black with chrome but i didn't want to use overlays.
