Extang Trifecta pre-purchase questions

I have a 2010 STX with bed rail caps. Thinking about buying a Trifecta cover.

2 questions for similar owners:

1. Does the Trifecta seal the front edge of the bed that is 3/8" lower than the side caps?

2. Is there a problem with the clamps when the side rail caps extend below the metal rails 1/4"? I know that you must ensure that the clamps are on the metal rails rather than just the caps.

Thanks,
gb

I just installed a Trifecta. Its completely watertight on my truck.

The front edge seals up nicely because Extang is now using larger "bulb" or "Q" seals.

No problem with the clamps and the plastic hanging slightly below the metal edge. The plastic just bends slightly with no ill effect.

Pics of my truck with the Trifecta:

And pics of the seal along the side rails. The work very well:

Thanks for the quick reply. Nice pics. Looks like a Trifecta will be on my truck soon.
