Invoice Price on a FX4?

Does anyone have an idea what the invoice price would be on this truck?

http://www.inventory.fordvehicles.co...FW1EV8AFC74595
VIN#1FTFW1EV8AFC74595

This would be my ideal truck if I can get it at the right price.

Thanks!!!!

My FX4 was 40,120 and invoice was 36,928, X plan 37,059
So you are probably 37,200 invoice, minus 4,500 rebates. 33,700 Probably 35-36k out the door depending on how you pay tax/trade etc. Try to get 5-600 of the holdback money. Some guys say you get a 750 private offer coupon if your request a brochure from the ford website.

That truck is identical to mine, except mine's white. You will LOVE it. L8 APEX sounds pretty much spot on with his numbers.

Remember that you can go to Edmunds.com or KBB.com and get their estimate of invoice pricing. They are not 100% accurate, but generally close enough to give you what you need.

For this truck the invoice should breakdown as:

Invoice $34,450
Chrome Tubular Running Boards $494
FX4 Plus Package $411
SYNC $328
Power Sliding Rear Window w/Defrost $187
Driver's Group $187
Destination $975 (this is not discounted)
Or at total of $37032 (minus the $500 for the package discount)

Just ask the dealer for the invoice.....they should give it to you without any hesitation. I'd even get a X-Plan PIN just in case.....always good to have some extra ammo!

why dont you just go in and offer 14k off of sticker then negotiate down to 10k? took about an hour for the dance, but i got my $43k truck for $36k otd. and that was back in february, so they're probably way more likely to go for the deal this late in the year.

You can go to truecar.com and enter the options, and it will show you the invoice price.

It is similar to the Ford employee discount (A-plan), which was offered to the general public a few years ago, but the discounts are not as good. Here is how it works for our company, the company I work for purchases vehicles from Ford so they consider my employer a “Ford Partner”. So we (employees) can buy vehicles at a fixed discount price plus any rebates that are available. It is not a bad deal at all but you may be able to negotiate a better price on your own. Also, if you have trade, it can really muddy the waters since not every dealer will give you the same amount for you trade.

In short it is a fixed price on the bottom of every invoice. It is close to invoice cost of the unit. It is offered to Ford business partners which most of us get through our employers. We have a corp code and go to this website to register and receive a X plan PIN#.
GM has a similar program called GSM pricing. It locks in the cost, doc fee of $75 and commission to the sales person. It is an easy no haggle way to purchase.
Here is a sample of the 4 cost plans Ford offers.
A&Z I think is employee and retired
D plan I think is Blue oval Dealer friends or something...
X plan is corporate associate, suppliers pricing.

L8 APEX - your assessment of the D Plan is correct; I purchased my FX4 via D Plan through my bil who works as a mechanic for Ford. He had to go online to get me a pin and can only do it twice in one year.

Thanks for the x-plan explanation. I was aware of the A-Plan but didn't realize there were others.
I am self employed and don't typically buy my trucks new so I guess none of the buying plans will ever benifit me.

I just bought my FX4 with ALL the options for $40,000. After all the rebates my truck cost me $34,750. The MSRP on my truck was exactly $5,000 more than yours. Hope it helps.

Mine was $42,250, got it for $33,000 out the door back in December. Had x-plan and rebates.
