search this and other threads and you will find that the general concensus is that a K&N is pretty much a waste of money on these trucks and it will only dirty your oil faster, as well as possibly gum up sensors when it is re-oiled.
Congrats on the truck though. Good to see more people growing up.

I've heard that too about aftermarket cai's on the newer trucks.

As far as gumming up the maf wire, the common mistake people make is over oiling of the filter. I've run K&N's in all my cars and bikes since the 70's and never had a problem.
