I'm contemplating trading/selling my 07 for a 10. I have seen a number of posts here and on other Ford truck sites which indicate Ford still has not resolved the leaking 3rd brake light issue. I occasionally see posts about leaks around the sunroof. Has anyone determined if Ford has updated the 09/10's so they don't have the same A/C drain leak/plugging issue the 04-08's have?

 

I can't vouch for everyone, but I haven't had any issues with water. I removed my 3rd brake light right after I took delivery and removed the two cargo bulbs. Reinstalled and no problems. No problems with the sunroof water channels. It's safe to say you won't have any problems. And if you do, Ford will make it right.

 

I'm just leary of another truck with water issues.

I'm certainly not as confident in my local dealers repair capabilities as you seem to be. But that's cool.

I've had a '97, '98, '04 and '09 F-150, and none of them have ever had any water issues. My '09 Platinum even has the useless moonroof, and no water issues there either.
