Getting parts painted. Where?

When you want to paint your grille or fender flares the stock vehicle color, do you just go to a body shop?

Some folks go that route, but others take on the project and do the painting themselves.

You can do it yourself with Dupli-color but be careful of which color of paint is on your truck. If it's a dual or tri coat color then your best off to take it to a body shop!!

A reputable body shop is the best way... unless you have a sprayer and all the other pro stuff and go get the paint yourself, but then paint matching becomes an issue. I found out the hard way this last year that not all paint shops are "reputable". Check with the Better buisiness Bureau before you go to a shop. If they have a history of shoddy work, keep shopping. Make sure you get a written receipt of what is to be done and make sure they will stand behind thier work. If it bubbles up in 2 weeks, they should be held liable.
