Just got done shoveling 8 yards of mulch of the course of 2 days out of it. Besides some color transfer from the red mulch it looks like new. Now that a few days have gone by you can barely even tell there was mulch in there.

At my company we have four 09' F150's, Three have the rhino liner and one has the linex. All three with the rhino product are peeling in areas, the linex has some deep scratches but no signs of peeling. I would go with the linex it's a proven product

 

I will tell you that from personal experience that the DIY stuff does not compare in the slightest to the professionally done liners. If you EVER use your bed for something other than groceries or teddy bears have a professional do it and be done with it, plus they have a lifetime warranty. I have had both Rhino and Line-X. Rhino is more rubbery and Line-X is more plasticy. Line-X definitely will outlast Rhino and is my personal preference, but if you haul things that are fragile or don't want scratched Rhino may be for you.

2nd LineX I have had and I definitely like it better than Rhino.

 

Line-x; 6.5' bed $450.00; did not spray tailgate due to stripper pole. Holding up great, but during transport of a aerator the tines made two small gouges in the lining; otherwise it is holding up great.

I also have Rhino inside my Jeep. It is still holding up great after 6 years, but does see less abuse than a truck bed.

A liner is all about installation. A great product can be ruined with poor installation.

I've hauled gravel, sand, mulch, red bricks and tree branches to name a few. It's stood up very well.

Nobody has an onyx liner? I would love to hear some more feed back on those. They are supposedly 200mil thick compared to 125mil with line-X. I have only talked to a few that have had them and they said they were better than line-x and they have a better warranty than them as well. I actually got some info on becoming a dealer here in MN but I dont have the time or set up to do it. I guess its only out east. But I havent heard much more about them.

dealer recommended bed liner for $350. i told him cool. as long as it is a line-x with the uv protectant. he had it completed before i picked it up. houston area.

Just purchased a herculiner kit. $91 shipped. I'll let everyone know how i make out and post some pics. I imagine i'll have to shell out some bucks for a solvent to clean the bed and some scuff pads but still hundreds less than line-x or rhino. I don't need a heavy duty liner, just something to make it look better than the scratched up bed looks now.
