Cargo Management System

Has anyone tried to remove the factory installed cargo management system? It seems that the top of the system goes under the bed rail cap and screws into the bed rail. How do you remove the bed rail cap to access these screws?
This is a temporary removal to install my bedrug.

Try going out to the ford accessories site. I believe they have install instructions out there for the cargo management system.

The technical specs don't seem to be working for me, let me try internet explorer and see if that makes a difference.

Unhappy

Stympy , removal requires that you will have to pull up on the plastic rail cover. In the process you will break some of the tabs !! Then remove the screws holding the CMS to the rail and to the sides of the bed . Do what you need to do then replace CMS and rail cover .Yes it's a PITA ! I had to do it to install a Diamondback Cover tonneau .

I was actually able to remove the vertical rails the hold the sliding cross supports. These are clipped into the piece that goes under the bed rail cover. Does that sound confusing to you like it does to me while writing this.
Regardless the install let without a hitch. Now the waiting begins for my Trifecta canvis toneau to come in.

I guess you're talking about the pieces that involve the cross piece at the head board .Weird design for sure but I'm glad you got it straightened out.
