Can I add a sync mic to the rear of the f150

I have read all the TSB info on replacing the main mic. In my 10 Lariat it seems to be fine. My question is, since the cannection is in the rear, can I add an additional mic for the kids to talk to Grandma? The sync is great for my three yr old to hear grandparents and for them to talk if we are sitting still and she can be out sitting on the console. I would love to have a mic in the rear of the screw. Any ideas?

nobody has an idea about how to add a mic to the sync system? There are some very smart and techy folks on here.

I would guess it can be done, but you would be connecting two microphones in parallel.

Off the top of my pointed head, I'd say there could be an impedence/voltage problem, but I don't know enough about the Sync microphone system to tell you yes or no.
