Why are there no good grille's available!!!!

SORRY had to vent here..... I am so mad that the ONLY grille I like is the Harley Grille and they want almost a $1000.00 for one are you f'n kidding me!!!! My 07 I put a Roush grille on it and loved it but I don't like any on the market right now for my 2010..... I really don't like my blahhhh black FX4 grille....

Anyone have any suggestions or know of a grille that I don't know about..... some what like the chrome xlt pkg grille but not the gaps on the sides and like the standard chrome xlt grille but everyone has one.....

pretty sure people were saying the harley grille was around $600 through tasca...i got the xlt chrome edition grille for $200 and i am getting the surround painted this summer to match my paint for $100...i agree with you on the roush grille (and had it on my '07) but i'm not sure they are too into the new generation of aftermarket accessories...i'm happy with the the look overall, will be very pleased once the surround is painted!!! you can see i chopped up the remainder of my extra roush grille off of my '07 for my lower bumper valance on my '09....

I really like your truck, I was real close to pulling the trigger on the same grille you got but haven't yet. My surround is already PTM white so I think I could just put the chrome center in and be good to go, just really want to see one first. I think you will really like the surround painted, If i finally get one and can use my surround that's already painted I will take a pic and post so you can see.

Street Scene makes a good billet grille if you like that style:

I'm in the same boat with my truck, I hate my Lariat grill (not so much the grill itself, just the chrome surround). So I picked up a base XL grill with plans on having the whole thing painted to match, so it would look similar to the Expedition Limited. But now I have the HD grill in my head, so I'm trying to decide which way to go now.

This is the nicest aftermarket grill I have sene. Looked in your album at the close up pics and it fits the shell extremely well. Appears to be powercoated black and polished on the front face. I too wanted the HD Grill, but this ones a winner at under $250.

Thanks Westpoint; GS357 is correct as the grille is powercoated black and polished on the front. The fit and finish is first rate and tight.

cdiddy....really don't know as I had my accessory shop order it directly from their wholesale supplier after I found it online. But $195 is a terrific price if you can get it for that!

This is funny... I was just walking around my truck today looking at the grille thinking I should paint the surround, but wasn't quite sure what it would look like so I dropped the idea. Then I find this discussion. I can't wait to see some more pictures, I'm too chicken to do it and then realize I don't really like it. I do like your grille Dawg.

I cant do it but if i ever get a new truck im sure it is going to be an Fx4. I want to see someone buy the billet inserts for the fx4 grille and paint to match the black that shows.
Heres what im talking about. I think it would be neat and it looks a little different then the FTX versions.
