2010 Platinum Screw

Its been a long long time since I bought a new vehicle. Would like opinion on whether this is a good deal, or just a "so so" deal. Other people around my area can't get close to his prices.

I Found a dealer with a 2010 4x4 SCrew Platinum, Ignot Silver, MSRP of $46,030 (built 12/2009).

Base ____$45,220.00
Options:
3.55 Lim_____300.00
Nav Syst___2,885.00
Skid Plate____160.00
MoonRoof____995.00
TGate _Step _350.00
Rebate ____1,000.00
---------------------
Total w/options $49,430
Rebate _________4500
---------------------------
$44,930

He says I can have the truck for $40,216 walking out the door (before sales tax).

Edmunds says the sticker is $50,265, which is a little higher because the base price changed. It also says others are paying $45,234.00

I would most certainly say that getting a $50K truck for $40K is a good deal.

I bought pretty much the same exact truck a few months ago except mine doesn't have the "man" step but does have the Platinum white tri-color metallic paint instead and was a January build. I paid $40,736 before tax and license. Sounds like a good price to me.

I recently got my Platinum 4x4 (March build) with the same options (plus bed extender) for about 10k off. That's a pretty good deal. You'll love the truck.

I agree - 10k off is about 20% I never buy a new vehicle unless it's 18-20% off

= GOOD DEAL

Looks like you're basically getting the X-Plan price. That's a good deal.
