well i went to the dealer with the goal to back trade my red 09 fx4 cc friday, for a used f150 to lower my payment. since i will be moving out of state and paying more costs to live in the new area.

well after being at the dealer a few hours i found cost wise and value. it came to be a better deal to buy a new 2010 stx ext cab, then used.



so at the end of the day i lower my payment a good bit and insurance also,

now this new truck is pretty nice i like it alot, now it doesn't have the power of the 5.4 but it does move very nice

at the end of the week it will have new bfg 275-70 and my old magniflow cat-back from the last truck, i also have a few things listed in the classifieds

 

The STX package is a super deal and the rebates are nice as well. It is smarter to buy new when you compare the true cost of ownership and value.

 

Congrats on the new rig. I like that color. I really liked your red FX4 a lot, you did a lot of nice mods to it. I'll look forward to seeing what you do to this one. Good luck with the 2010 and good luck with your move out of state. Where are you going?

 

im moving out to columbus oh, after my wife gets done with graduate school. so she can attend OSU veterinarian school, so 4 more years of fun

Sorry to see the FX4 go...especially after my Line-X comment, but the new truck and color look great. I think black Line-X in the bed would look great too.

 

We almost ended up on an internship in Dayton, OH. I bet you will miss the 4wd in those winters...

The deals on the new trucks out there are really unbelievable. And, I have found out the hard way TWICE now that buying used is a huge gamble. You may save what seems like a ton on the front end, until you get into all the problems.

Well I looked at 07 ext fx4 they wanted 27k and it had dents and need a new bumpers, and the new truck with a sticker of 33k and rebates and beating the dealer up on price and leting me keep everthing off the old truck and giveing me a new bug shield it was a lot better deal

I could got white or silver but that blue is a hot color

and for mods new mud flap and tires only because I got a good trade in deal on my oem tires and that it
