SYNC problem

Hey everybody, today I got into my truck after work and my phone wouldn't connect to the SYNC. It worked fine until today. Any suggestions?

I assume you have already toggled the phone BT off and on.

If so, then try pulling the Sync fuse for 1-3 minutes. If that doesn't work then

1. Master reset (Sync)
2. Delete Sync from your phone
3. Re-pair the phone

I had that same problem a couple of times on my 2010 H-D. I just re-paired the phone to the truck and it worked fine. If this continues I will make a trip to the dealer.

You can actually download sync updates directly from syncmyride.com and then install them yourself. It was a very straightforward and easy process that beats the crap out of taking it into the dealer and losing your truck for a day.

Battery

Pull the battery out of the phone, then put it back in. Hard re-boot.
That worked for me.

Same here, had to re-find the bluetooth about 5 times
Now it works. I had to "DELETE" Sync, before it would work. I tried it just by re-connecting and it did not work, you must delete "Sync" off your phone first, then re-find it. It is like clearing the cache on a web browser.
