2009 vs 2010 - Major differences?

What are the differences between 2009 and 2010 models?

I heard the head rests were modified a little.
Also the brakes were improved a little.
Some of the color options changed ...

Anything else?

Max tow package means GVWR of 7675-7700 for 4x4's vs. 7200, so 450+ more pounds of payload.

I was told the 2010 Supercrew was 6 inches longer. I don't know though, as I've never been in a 2009.

09-10's are the same length. They are 6 inches longer than th 04-08 SCREWs.

There are more trim levels available in 10 (Harley, FX2 I think)

The same except no two tone options on the FX4 model, maybe a few more paint options but very minor things model wise is it. Now 2011 may look the same but have different engines.

^^ standard on Lariat and Plat's, I believe.
The brakes are freakin' awesome! Stops on a dime. I came from an '07 Edge which, if you recall, was the one weak point of that vehicle. This truck stops on a dime, IMHO...

A 2009 already has two years depreciation in value, a 2010 only one year.

09's are two years prior to all new engines, 2010's one.

I don't think that matters one damn bit.

hehe...that's what I tell my wife every year as my reason for buying another new truck. She's not convinced it's helping me much.

Since my wife gets to drive the truck while I'm gone, she says it made me the sexiest sumbiotch on the face of the planet. Differences in 09s and 10s? I own a 2010, not a 2009. Ingot silver was a new 2010 color, FYI... Guess which color I got?

A few others... if Lariat's are your game...

The Lariat Chrome Package grille is different. Jury is out on that one.

The Lariat Chrome Package running boards are chromed aluminum 6" steps with "beach-to-clean" raised plastic step bumps. They look better than the 5" chrome we are used to, but a pain to clean with polish and prevent leaving white residue on the black plastic step bumps.
