The payload difference between 2009 and 2010 models is important. Some people have 2009 Platinum Supercrews with under 800 pounds of payload available. Can't even take 4 friends out to lunch with an empty bed!

But I'm with Power Kid, waiting for new engines (5.0L and 3.5EB)

Damn, that's either a really crappy truck, or some damn "big" friends...

I've never once had a problem packing the weight into, or onto, any of my F-150's, from my '97 XLT to my '09 Platinum. But if I ever do experience my Platinum taking damage or having a hard time getting going because of some extra weight, I'll be sure to let you guys know this trucks sucks donkey dung. Luckily, as with all my F-150's, it's never had a lick of trouble doing real work. Maybe you were thinking of the turdra, i hear they have some kind of platinum package or something. You know, the one who's tailgate bends if you stand on it, the one who's underbody rusts so badly your spare goes flying off as it rusts right off the frame, the one that's made by toyota who likes their vehicles to suddenly accelerate out of control. You know, that one.

Power Kid,
Do you agree with Comet Flash that more power is unnecessary? Comet Flash is always first off the line.

I can't speak for CometFlash. If he's happy with current power levels than its all good. I wish I was as then I wouldn't have to wait for a 2011+.

IMHO these are great trucks that are class leaders in every regard... but one. Lets fix that.
