The recon ones look better than the factory ones imo, but I'm not a fan of clearance lights on a 1/2 ton. Just seems silly.

Some visors include the cab lights into them. My friends dodge has one but I'm not sure of the brand.

I've been thinking about doing this and I heard that actually the dodge cab lights fit the curve of a ford 1/2 ton better than the super duties

i was checking out e-bay and tri state auto has a kit for 119.95 and comes with factory wiring harness ,template , instructions seems like a good kit. i also like the dodge low profile cab lights that recon offers i will give it a few days and pick one. i was wondering if you can snake the harness through the headliner it scares the hell out of me to take it down with out messing it up.

I installed clearance lights on my 1998, they were the ones from the new SuperDuty redesign I think from the following year (1999? I forget). Anyways, the dealer installed them just fine and I thought they looked good along with my lightbar. But I didn't do it for my '04 since by then lightbars had Cruise Lights, and haven't done anything on my '09 since I don't plan on keeping her that long (will most likely get an '11 w/EcoBoost unless we hear anything about the '12's by the end of this calendar year).

what part number are you going to use. i plan on adding them to my 08 soon. Part number 264146AM is what i found and they are $70.95 shipped. i dont know if they come with a harness, if not, it will be easy to make. 2 wires and tie each power to one and ground to the other, done!! let me know how it turns out.

yep those should be the ones. seller was performancetuners i think. they told me the kit does have a harness, but like you said, if not or if it's not adequate, looks pretty easy to build. will let you know soon
