Hey, what size wheels and tires are those? What's the side wall size? You have 2.5" level up front and 3" blocks in the rear, right? Great stance. I like it. I want to do the same just maybe with a slightly smaller tire.

Thats kinda what I thought. I equated it to when I went from a stock filter to a drop in K&N

Nothing but good news so far. Actually seeing about 1 mpg better than before. Since its before your MAF sensor, the truck doesnt "see" any difference. Good luck, and enjoy

No worries. Ill try and get a pic in my album this afternoon. I went to home depot and bought a black 3" to 3" rubber connector and a 2' length of white PVC. I cut the pvc to about 4" and took a grinder to the sides because the inlet is an oval. Just kept on grinding and test fitting. Took a rubber mallet and banged it in with light force to get a good seal. Then fit the 3"coupler over the end of the airbox. There is a piece of plastic on the airbox that lines up with the snorkle that can be shaved off. But I just tightened the rubber coupler tight enough around it that it got a good seal. Then I slide the airbox/3"coupler assembly over the pvc that stuck out of the side and tightened it down. Done!

Pics are posted. If you have any other questions, hit me up!

Awesome. How hard was it to install the 2.5" AS in the front? Maybe I'll go that route. I'd definitely follow your footsteps and go with the 3" blocks in the back if I ended up doing that.

Try a tire calculator and it'll tell you the difference in size and ou can multiply and it'll tell you man. How long have you had your replacement on?
