Spring Forward with SYNC?

Alright. I'm usually the guy everyone comes to to figure out how to operate consumer electronics, but this SYNC system has me ticked off.....

The time displayed in my truck is 2 minutes off, and after tonight it will be 1:02 off. I've tried to adjust the time, just as the "basic" instructions in the manual have directed to: "Hold clock button until time flashes, and adjust".

I've got the 6-Disc In-Dash MP3 with SYNC (obviously ), and by holding the clock button, the display will change to "Display Text" when in Sirius; or it will display "Set Time" when in AM/FM, but does NOT change from that when you continue to hold it, and resets to regular time display when you press it again.

So, who knows the secret? Does it need to be in a particular input? Do you gotta go through the SYNC System Settings (that I haven't done yet)? I feel like a n00b in this respect.....

When i set mine i just hit the clock button till "set time" came up. I then entered the time and just waited a few seconds and it worked. Don't hit the clock button again or else it will set it self back to the time it was set at before.

Ah! So there is no more of the "scrolling" through blinking hours and minutes to change time, but rather a direct imput.....cool.

Thanks!

Took me about five seconds Reading your post, Thanks. Easiest changed I ever had to do. Simply pushed to clock button and the first prompt was" Set Time" Entered the time using the first ten digits on the top row of three and done. I am curious if it will automatically change, which would put my clock two hours ahead, like my computer did last year. I changed it before I went to bed, but the computer dropped it back another hour at 2AM. Had to reset it so I let it do it's thing from there on.

Changing the clock has to be the easiest thing to do on this truck... Hit "Clock", then push the buttons corresponding to the correct time. Done. Can't get any easier than that.
And there is a def learning curve with Sync. I need to start reading the manual
