5100's Are Out

Hope I didnt miss where someone else figured this out but I know the bilstein 5100's are a popular leveling option for the 04-08's and I wanted them but didnt think they were out so I tried going with the rancho quick lift but they are on back order so I tried calling bilstein today to check on the 5100's and they are out! I ordered the fronts and rears today from O'reillys and they should be here in two weeks or less. If anyone else is interested call around and dont be surprised if they tell you they dont have them because shockwarehouse told me they couldnt get them when bilstein was telling me they could. Turns out the systems have to be updated to include the new part ##'s. After a few phone calls O'reillys was able to order them for me. Part ##'s are:
Fronts: BE5G741HO- $171.99 each
Rears: BE5G742HO- $143.99 each

Awesome! I have been keeping my eye out. I can more or less confirm the front part number - I spoke to Bilstein late last year and this is the PN he said they would be released under so it looks good to me.

5100's

How much lift is this supposed to provide for the front and rear of a 4x4?

People aren't very resourceful anymore.

According to Bilstein, you can lift the front up to 2".

Did they raise the price? You can get the complete set for a 04-08 for around $380.

Those prices seem a little high. I found all four for $435 Canadian $$$.

Call the shock warehouse. They have lower prices and 15% off Bilsteins right now.

What's the story on the rear shocks? Do they actually lift the rear or only really used for extending the shock length - maybe for an AAL? The Bilstein website states they don't lift but their sales material state 0"-1" lift. Not sure it's a great idea to use the shock mounts to lift the rear anyway. Anybody with a picture of the rears?

Sorry about that! Bilstein never let us know that these parts were now available (and on one of the best parts out there for the most popular truck in America)
They're up now on our site, the cost for the full set for F150online members will be $330.83.

Bilstein 5100 leveling shock 2009- F150
Bilstein 5100 rear shock 2009- F150
The pictures we have up are just for reference, they are not the actual parts, we'll get accurate pictures up ASAP

The rear shocks will NOT lift your trucks, they are designed to work with stock height trucks or up to 1 inch of suspension lift.

The front leveling shocks are available, but the rears are not yet, they should be ready to ship out in the beginning of April.
