I am looking to buy a used 09. I have been looking online for a supercrew that comes with Sync, but isn't a top of the line model. I am trying to spend in the $26-$29k range, and have only found a couple models in that range that also have Sync. I have a couple questions:

1) Is Sync worth it? If I decided to go without Sync I would have many, many more options, but I really wanted Sync.

2) Is this a reasonable dollar range to get a used 09 supercrew with under 20k miles?

3) Is there anything else you would recommend I get, or avoid?

This is going to be my first truck and I this board has steered me towards an F-150. Thanks in advance. I appreciate any and all the help.

 

1.) I don't really use it that much.
2.) Easily XLT model.
3.) 5.4 over 4.6 IMO

 

You should be able to find a new one in that price range.

 

1) Is Sync worth it? I use it everyday. Offers you a bluetooth link to your phone and displays the caller. Worth every penny right there. Copied all my good music to a 160 gb drive and have it plugged in to the 2nd usb port. Think of it as a jukebox/ipod with 4 wheels that you never want to leave.

2) Is this a reasonable dollar range to get a used 09 supercrew with under 20k miles? No - offer them much less $$$$ and prepare to walk away to get your way. They want to sell you a truck.

3) Is there anything else you would recommend I get, or avoid?
Get everything you want on the truck at the time of purchase.
