Do you not have frame hangers on your exhaust?

only a body lift would effect your exhaust. unless, of course, you have it mounted to the rear end

makes sense, my '02 had a body lift on it and thankfully i got my exhaust after the fact....I was just concerned after hearing about putting in a "block" made me think of a body lift sort of thing. Haven't really looked in depth about rear blocks or add-a-leafs cause this mod is towards the bottom of the list...

well basically body lifts lift the body off of the frame and since the exhaust should be mounted to the frame body lifts lift the body farther away from the exhaust. in the case of a rear "block" or add-a-leaf (aal), you are lifting the leaf spring pack(and everything that is mounted to the frame) farther off of the rear end.

Sticky, I went with the Hell Bent Steel 2" spacers and could not be happier. My Nitto's are stock size due to the fact that I had just put them on my Silverado and swapped them to the new Ford. HBS 2" Spacer

Before

After

Is it just my imagination but it seems that the 2" HellBent spacer lifts the truck about as much as a 1.5" AS spacer? I know people have been getting almost 2" rise out of a 1.5" AS kit after the truck is aligned. IMO the 2" AS is almost too high on the new F150's, seems to sit a little nose high. I am ordering leveling kit, tires and weathertechs tomorrow so I want to make sure I get what I want. If I end up sitting nose high I will probably end up getting blocks. 2020is truck looks level to me, but White Platinum's looks a little nose high.

When I first did mine it was nose high. I just measured my truck and I am 40.75 in the rear 40.5 in the front as of 10 mins. ago. Two weeks ago I was .5 higher in the front.
So they do settle some.

So maybe I should be looking at a 2" AS? I might try emailing the guy there and see what he thinks. I've heard that the 09's rear blocks are not as big as the 04-08 blocks and that is why the 2.5" AS seems to bring the front end of the 09+ up so much more.

Well i just taped some quick measurements before it gets dark and this is what i have...

Drivers Front: 37" Pass Front: 37 7/16"
Drivers Rear: 39 1/4" Pass Rear: 39 1/4"

Can anyone else with a 4x4 6.5' bed take some stock measurements and throw them up... I would prefer to not go nose high and i would rather not have to block the rear. I just want to sit as close to level as possible, or nose low and clear 33's.. So i think my best bet is the 1.5" Spacer set up.

Just pulled the trigger, ordered a 1.5 AS leveling kit ($73 shipped), and 275/70/18 BFG All Terrains ($868 shipped). Figure it will give me a slightly more aggressive look but still keep some road manners, and not look ridiculous when I put my winter rims and tires on (265/70/17). Now I'm just waiting on PHP to finish up on the tunes so I can finish off my short mod list. I won't be installing until probably late March once the snow starts melting. Spent + $1000 (canadian) tonight and it's all F150ONLINE's fault!!!!!

I went with the 1.5'' AS on my 2010 XLT Scab 4X4 and it is DEAD LEVEL. If I went with the 2'' AS it would definitley sit nose high. I'm runnin the Wrangler Silent Armor 285/65/18 (32.6'') on the stock chrome package wheels for the winter. Gettin ready to order some new rims and 33'' M/T's for spring. There's enough room under the wheelwells to fit 35's with the right rims if you wanted too but 33's with a nice offset look better in my opinion. I'm not sure about the other brands but if you order the AS in a 2'' or 2.5'' your gonna need rear blocks for it to sit level. Hope this helps.

This is all just crazy. My head is hurting. It really seems like everyone with a 09-10 is happy with the stance of their 4x4 with a AS 1.5" leveling kit. However, White Plat says that his rear is still 1/4" higher in the rear with a 2.5" kit. I know on the 04-08, the AS 2.5" kits were what I(and most others I believe) thinks looks the best. I am thinking that if I had a new model truck, I would be going with the AS 2" kit. I would go for the happy medium.

just did a 2.5 inch front and 1.5 rear. sits exactly level. you can order the 1.5 2wd kit and use the u-bolts from 04-08 4wd
