Remote Start won't "Remote" start

Installed a Compustar 703 2 way. Get all through the installation, everything is going as advertised. Put key in ignition in off position, hit remote start button and it starts. Take key out. Try remote start and it doesn't start. Gauges spine, radio comes on, remote fob says it has started but it hasn't.

Checked connections and all look good. All the door locks etc work. I verified all wires, connections were soldered and heat shrink applied. Steering column connections haven't been soldered yet, only wrapped and taped until system is working.

I've moved the ground twice with same results. Anything I'm overlooking?

what kind of PATS bypass kit is used with that system? Sounds like a PATS issue if it works when the key is in/near the igntion, but not when it's removed.

make sure that the two wires from the blade are correct, or/bl should go to pin 4 at the pats connector, gry/red should be going to pin 3 at the pats connector.

now if you actually hooked up everything correctly and have the system programed correctly then all you need to do

you need both factory pats keys to finish this.

first key in the ign turn to run wait for the theft light to go out, remove key insert second key turn to run wait for theft light to go out remove key, rmst start truck immediately, and the truck should start, if the theft light flashes you didn't do the key cycles fast enough or you have things wired wrong..
