You have peaked my interest with your comment on the Borla... how many miles have you put on since you installed the exhaust? Just wonder if over time it will become louder... or maybe I'm hoping that's your answer so I can save myself from getting the Borla system installed...
I probably put about 1500 miles since the exhaust was done. The muffler is 3" inlet with 2.5" outlets. It was a little loud when it was installed ( or i'm used to it now ), has nice growl on takeoff but after the drone is minimal. Just took it on my first road trip last week and my buddies loved the exhaust. Went out to PA on a 2.5 hour drive and wasn't disappointed and had no ringing in our ears like my flow used to do after awhile.

I too just had the Borla ProXS si/do installed 1000 miles ago and love it. Its deep and has a great sound, but it's not too loud. Like others have said, its loudest while accelerating and at highway speeds has a nice, quiet rumble. Mine seems to be getting more quiet but maybe I'm just getting used to it. The videos from youtube sold me on it but it sounds much better in person. Hope this helps.
