Help please :)

Hey guys its been a long while since I've been on here been really busy. Anyways I bought a 09 f-150 with the 4.6l v8. The 2 valver with a whopping 248 horses. Anyways I would really like to pick up some power to at least catch up to the 5.4's 300 hp. I know thats quite a gap but i know it can be done. So guys lend me your intelligence to catching up to a 5.4 with this wussy motor

Should have bought one with the 5.4. About all you can do is get a tuner. I'm not sure what the proven HP gains are but I would think somewhere around 20-30 HP. A CAI or exhaust will give negligible increases.

wussy motor no it not just regear to 4.10s get a tuner, exhaust and an intake and you will be beating stock 5.4s and putting up a good fight against modded ones

LT headers, Tuner (custom programmed), 2.25 true dual exhuast with straight through mufflers, Cai. (UD pulleys and electric fans - but that's something I would not do myself)

UD pulleys i would not waste my time on but E-fans and LT's would help a lot too

I just realized that he was the 4.6 Lt's may be harder to find. Yeah I agree, that is what I meant when I said I would not do them myself. I don't like messing with that much crap and possibly messing up the truck for minimal gains.

E fans stock- sure

Could a 4.6 handle a turbo kit with a mild boost? It would give you 75+ hp if it's possible. Has anyone here done this? Did it last or fry?

Do a trade in for a 2011 with the 5.0 and you'll beat the 5.4
