Yes it works great. I consider it a must with Fords painted bumpers.

That and wood grain trim.

A choice would be perfect - that's why I went with the Lariat over the Platinum - guess I'm one of the few that likes the chrome bumper. Even with the 3M film I've found the painted ones are too hard to keep looking good.

Haven't decided on the painted vs chrome tow mirror caps yet - ours are painted . . .

But that is a sharp looking truck in white!

Surprisingly it didn't bother me that much, but I do think they went a little overkill with it. Definitely need to switch the woodgrain shifter to leather like the Platinum though with all the delamination going on.

Have you checked out the color of the shifter on the Platinum's? Are the dash pads the same color? I have looked at some pictures in the galleries and it looks like it will match. Have not called the parts dept. at the dealership yet but that is one of the next things I want to do.

It is black leather on the Raptor but I bought my truck on New Year's eve and the only thing I desired that I did not get was black leather. My truck has the tan leather so it looks like I might be stuck with the woodgrain shifter because it seems all the Platinum interior colors might have a darker dash mat/console cover/shifter cover than what mine is.

I do really like the PTM bumpers and will certainly consider doing that if given the opportunity in the next few months. 3 kids($$) and not keeping trucks very long might not make it worthwhile but awesome write up on the bumpers.

All the Plats I've seen, the shifter leather is a darker brown. I haven't see a tan leather one yet.

Question, is the FX4 grill the same as the STX grill only painted? I'm thinking of replacing my chrome grill with an all black STX one, but may want to paint it down the line so it looks like the FX4 grill.

Also how much is it costing you to paint the grill?

Not sure on that?

I only paid $250 to have everything painted... I am sure the bumpers were the majority of that... Then the grille and mirror caps.
