Close up pictures of Bushwacker fender flares
Anyone have any close up shots of their mounted Bushwacker fender flares? With or without the rubber trim. I am debating if I should put the trim on and paint it along with the flare, or leave it black, or just leave it off all together. I just think it will look goofy having a blue flame truck with matching flares and a black rubber piece between the two.
You're gonna want that rubber on there or the exposed flare on the truck will rub all that blue flame paint to schit. Not to mention all the debris, dirt, and mud that will get down in there and rub the paint even more.
That's kinda what I thought, but wasn't sure how tight fitting the flare would be to the body without the rubber trim. Kinda figured since oem flares don't have the rubber, maybe these didn't need them either.
Has anyone painted the rubber trim??
Has anyone painted the rubber trim??
I thought the same thing after my post, but the bushwacker flares are made out of a different, thinner, flimsy plastic that doesn't contour so tightly to the body like the factory flares. I had some bushwacker pocket flares on my last truck and there would have been gaps all over without the rubber seal installed.
