2010 Platinum Wheels
2010 Platinum Wheels
Are the lug nuts exposed?
My father-in-law's 2010 platinum wheels got stolen off his truck after a week of ownership and I'm trying to get a complete locking lug net set.
I want to go with the Gorilla System along with 4 other different locking lug nut setup(two locks per wheel). I need to know if the lug nuts are exposed or not.
Thanks,
Justin

Not sure what you mean by "exposed". They're recessed lug nuts and yes you can see them without removing any cover.
That sucks about your FIL. I was thinking of putting some locks on my Platinum wheels. Or an alarm. I haven't decided yet.

But to clarify, you can take the lug nuts off without removing anything from the wheel?
The owner doesn't know because his WHEELS GOT STOLEN
FatherFord, the lug nuts can be removed without removing anything from the wheel.
Well there's your answer.
Just out of curiosity, what is the trim piece for then? Is the hole in it big enough to fit a socket?
