I'm wanting to ad some ambient lighting to my 150, in the floorboards. I want to put it on a switch where I can turn it on when the truck is off, key is out. Is there a fuse I can tap off of in the passenger kick panel for this? I haven't seen an add a fuse, but am going to look for one today at auto parts store.

From: NJ near the shore,ok not really
You can run direct from battery with fuse to switch, or look at your fuse block diagram in manual for spare open fuse and test which one is hot when truck is off. I used an open spare circuit that was switched to ignition for my blue lights (FD) and ambient lights i tapped into the marker lamp wire.

I don't have a manual. I'll poke around some today and see if I can find one, but first have to go pick up the fuse bit.

I always use a relay; then I can determine what amps fuse and what wire guage I will use, instead of 'giving in' to what Ford put there.
