2010 Lariat Screw w/ 6.5 bed & leveling kit
I got a ton... the 2.5" kit raised the front just over 3"
Love the look of your truck Fast, great stance. Definatly too nose high in your first pictures, that AAL really finished the truck off. I was leaning towards just a 1.5" level but now you've got me thinking a 2" level with 2.5 or 3" blocks. I like the look of your factory rims with those ATZ's truck looks clean. Also what was the price on that cap? I can see me going that direction down the road, I have a tonneau on right now but I miss having a cap (had one on my old truck)
As for the price on the Cap, here in Ontario Canada is set me back About $2100... it was a Christmas gift from the wife.
I will try to snap a few pics.
But the finish, look and paint is amazing.
Yeah, this is common. Leer thinks they are high and almighty. I have a good friend who owns a truck accessory shop, and he sells Leer along with several other brands. He said that if he could drop Leer, he would, just because of their customer service. Leer wants him to be an exclusive Leer dealer, but he says he'd be out of business quickly if he sold just Leer. Their quality issues are out and seem to be known, yet nobody has a top that looks like "it grew there" like Leer. I know about six people within the last two years that said they will never go with a Leer again. I had an XL100 on my 2007 F-150 that was beautiful for fit and finish, but it leaked like a sieve. On may last 2008 F-350, I had an XQ100, and it fit and looked great, too, but the front window leaked and popped out continuously and the carpeted liner bubbled and peeled off.
I've had several full tops between Swiss (4), Jason (2), and Leer (2), and although the look of the Leer is unsurpassed by any other, their quality couldn't come close to the other brands I have had. As for lids, they seem to be the standard as they cost about one half to one third of a full top. There, I've had A.R.E. (3) and Swiss Patriots (5).
So, with anybody looking at Leer tops, I'd suggest picking your dealers brain real hard on how they will address any warranty issues before you buy. My Dad is on his third Leer XQ100, and they won't do a thing for his leak issues anymore. Unfortunately, even though I know the deal, I am sure that until somebody comes out with a top that looks as good as Leer, my next full top will be a Leer. I just have a dealer that takes care of business where Leer drops the ball. Be careful and educated.
Sorry to Hijak.
