Want to look at using for aftermarket foglights but cant seem to figure out how to disconnect wires and remove to splice in.

Any ideas on how to get the whole assembly out without damaging the Brushed Aluminum in my 2010 Platinum?

 

When I installed the remote start in my '04 I took the panel off the end of the dash on that side and then reached in behind the headlight switch and was able to pop it out that way. Should be able to do the same thing on your 2010.
