New ipod an truck question

Well i got an ipod for x-mas and put about 70 songs on it. But when i tryed to hook it to my truck it says indexing then puts only about half the songs in it...Then tells me to put them in manually.



What am i doin wrong?

You have to make sure that the songs have the artist, track name and album for it to index fully. Other than that it may have something to do with DRM tracks.

I don't enter them manually. It still finds them in order or by voice command. I think everyone hears that error or prompt...

Ur right, its gotta have all the info on every song or it wont work right...thanks

For doing bulk Mp3's...I recommend Tag & Rename. Works great and tons better than doing them one by one.

^ or MP3Tag. It can automatically download all metadata from various sources (Amazon, freedb, etc.).

If you go to syncmyride.com you can download a program called Sync MyItunes which will add the appropriate metadata so you Sync will index all the songs on your ipod.
