Tune on its way for the 2010 FX4

Got word from VMP that he is able to tune the 2010's now. Just placed my order yesterday. Excited to say the least. The canned tunes left a lot to be desired and the shifting drove me nuts so I removed it. Hopefully (I am sure it will) Justin's tunes shift better as I did appreciate the quicker transmission response as well as the increased throttle response from the canned tunes.

Will keep everyone updated.

Well got the tune yesterday, happy with it thus far, though we have snow now so hard to really get on it and see. Shifts perfect IMO, not hard or harsh but quick.

I had it expedited which is why I got it early. WAY better than the canned SCT tunes.

Awesome... I just have to send my payment for the Gryphon (today) and I should have that this week and get to enjoy it. The custom performance/economy tune will be something for me to look forward to

How much of a difference do you really feel? It's so hard to picture.

Well like I said, the weather has been horrible here so feeling a difference in PERFORMANCE is difficult to say. Even if I had the E85 Performance tune I would venture to guess it would be difficult to feel the truck actually being faster. The throttle response is much improved as is the shifting times the transmission sees while going to pass. I had 3 tunes made, 87 performance, 87 towing, and E85 performance. I have only tried the 87 performance. I am not sure if I will do the E85 performance anytime soon as they claim you can have problems with cold starts (Ford claims) during the winter months. I may try 1/2 a tank or so on my next fill up and see if I encounter any problems, that way if I do I can top it off with 87 and reload the 87 performance tune. The truck just drives better, really hard to explain.
