Do I have heated side mirrors?

I cannot tell. I have a Lariat with defroster in the back window but cannot tell if I have defrosters in the side view mirrors. My last Lariat had the heated mirrors but they were extra, are they still extra on these trucks? I do not think it was listed on the sticker.

Also, whats the deal with the blue cover on the driver side mirror, I can really only see it at night.

what year is your truck? next to your name says 2004?

For these new trucks (09-up), the heated mirrors are standard on the Lariats. the same button controls the mirror defrost and rear window defrost. press the button and wait a little and then feel your mirror, it should be slightly warm.

the tint on the driver's mirror is the self-dimming feature.

if someone has their brights on, that mirror acts like your rear view and dims the brightness.

as far as the heated mirrors...do you have a button on yur dash that looks like this?

I will update my profile. I do not have that heated mirror button. However, my last Lariat did not have that button either. Is that button used only if you do not have a defroster in the rear, perhaps with the slider window?

Like steveVfx4 said heated mirrors are standard on the lariats for 09+ so you should have them unless the dealer did some kind of switch before you bought it, unlikely but u never know

Do u have signals on the mirrors?...if u do then u have the heated mirrors.

My '05 Lariat had the heated mirrors and rear window defog combo...with this combo the heated mirrors were included in the rear defog button...there was not a seperate button for the mirrors - they were activated when pressing the rear window defog button. Now my '09 has the rear slider (hence NO rear window defrost) so there IS a seperate heater mirror button on the dash...chances are you have the rear window defroster and your heated mirrors are integrated into that switch....
