i went through all that crap you did and then i got 2nd and 3rd opinions from other stealerships then finally found one who would spend the time and energy to argue with ford to get it fixed. the first stealership i took it to was the one i bought it from, they ended up replacing i think it was driverside cam phasers, then noise was still there after, took it back and they said there is nothing wrong with the truck it is just making noise after showing them how to make it act up (btw u can do this by reversing up an incline, ur truck will ping and clack like the gd tranny is going to fall out or something)...ended up taking it to 2 more stealerships and the 3rd one ended up finding the passenger side was making the noise (after they 1st place only did the driver side even though they had everything apart). ford agreed to replace the motor with a new one. no more noise, hopefully for a long time . this will be my first and last ford. all trucks ive owned have been garbage except for my first 2 trucks ive had (chevys)
