2 Questions

I have a 2010 Supercrew Lariat.
The only 2 things i would like to change are:

1- I would like to be able to turn on reverse camera in drive.
I have the non nav unit with oem camera in rearview mirror.

2- I would like to turn off the seatbelt alarm if possible.
(I know I should be wearing it all the time but .......)

Anyone know how to make these 2 minor items a reality ?

Congrats on the new truck, I know you can disable the seat belt
it's in the owner's manual under belt minder just scroll to disable/enable
pretty easy.
don't have any answers about the camera. I'm sure there should be someone here that might have some idea's for it.

Good luck, post some pics of the new rig

I'm with you here. It'd be handy to be able to flash that camera on while i'm pulling the trailer (for piece of mind if nothing else) or when the Douche Nozzle in the minivan looks like he's crawling up my tail-pipe

That is exactly why i want to do it. I tow a single jetski trailer at times with one standup ski. It is only 4 feet wide so i can't see it in my mirrors and with my tonneau cover on i dont even know it 's still behind me. With my double trailer it's no problem to see it in the mirrors. There has to be a way to add an inline switch to turn it on. I just need to know what wire to tap into.

I got it figured out !!!!!!!!!!!!
A big thanks to forum member sscully for help with wiring diagrams !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here is a link to the diagrams. https://www.f150online.com/forums/el...am-please.html
I mounted a small rocker switch on the bottom of the rear view mirror with double sided tape to turn on or off.
Camera can be switched on while in any gear.
It does however make the backup lights also come on.

Better make sure you don't flip that switch while you are driving anywhere near a cop. White lights facing backwards are not a good thing while moving forward.

Yeah i do not intend on using it except for a quick view of a small trailer that can't be seen in the mirrors.
