In this album are the 2009 EVTM 124 for the camera and review mirror

https://www.f150online.com/forums/me...s-2009-my.html

Look for EVTM 124-n where n is the page number. Should start around 124-7.

sscully,
Thank you, but do you happen to have the diagram for the mirror wiring with the reverse camera? If so you can email it to ericpatteson@comcast.net

They are linked in the album above.

Review camera:
w/ nav is 124-12
w/o nav is 124-11

The camera display mirror : 124-9 & 10

The review electrochromatic 124-8

This is what you are asking for.

I am trying to get my reverse camera in the mirror to come on in drive. Has anyone been successful in doing this ? I would like to have a switch to turn it on/off. I don't care if the backup lights come on with it or not.

Look like without nav, taking the reversing lamp circuit to + DC will turn it on.

Don;f see any other CAN bus connections that would stop it.

This is the Blue wire in C9039, pin #2.

You would want to use a SPDT switch for this, I am not sure what would happen if you put power back towards the DTR on a 2009-2010 MY truck on the reverse pin.

SPDT = Single Pole Double Throw switch.

DTR = Digital Transmission Range Sensor

Thanks
I tried it today temporarily. It seems to work. I got 12v from the blue/red and jumped it to the blue. The reverse camera comes on and so do the backup lights.(which is fine for me)
Do you happen to know where the wires are ran under the headliner?
Possibly down the windshield pillar?
I am looking for a neater place to tie into the two wires, then mount a small switch.

This is what I was getting at :

Total SWAG, but I would think the wires come down the driver's side A-pillar.

Don't have access to a 2009+ MY truck to verify this.

If you used the power to do this, both of those wires should be in the head liner, right above the mirror. This would make it easy to mount a switch in the overhead console.

^^
That is exactly what i did except i mounted a small rocker switch on the botton of the rear view mirror. I didn't want to try and fish wire into the center console. I am very happy with the way it turned out !!!!!!!!!
Thanks for all your help !!
